Kay Gibson

Kay is our co-lead prekindergarten teacher at Beaver Brook. She currently holds a BA in Environmental Studies, a Master’s in Education, and a Master’s in Teaching. She has worked in both public and private schools for many years. Kay spent two years in the Peace Corps in Macedonia, and has lead professional development workshops on natural science curriculum to teachers through the Vermont Institute of Natural Science. Kay is passionate about instilling a love of learning through wonder, curiosity, and discovery. She is a life-long learner who enjoys spending lots of time outside in nature, gardening, kayaking on the river in the summer, and cross-country skiing in the winter. She especially enjoys working with preschool children.
